Toms River Police investigating theft of $3,000 from Route 37 WaWa

Officer Shan Ruiz and Joseph Mastronardy are investigating the theft of over $3000 from the Wawa at Route #37 and Northampton 11 p.m. Friday night.   A male subject was witnessed to have approached the Gasoline Service Kiosk on foot from the route 37 while the attendants were changing shifts.  The suspect dressed in black pants, hat and coat with a hood then entered the Kiosk and a minute later left towards Route #37 after removing cash from the safe drawer.  There were customers at the pumps and attendants in the area that were not  immediately aware of the theft.  Anyone with information is urged to call 349-0150 ext 1200.
