Vacant home fire in Gilford Park section

Toms River Police responded to a vacant residence on fire just before 10 p.m. at 406 Elizabeth Avenue in the East Dover section of the Township.  Toms River Fire Companies 1 & 2 and East Dover Fire companies responded and extinguished the fire.  Ortley Beach First Aid squad also was on scene during the fire.
