District 18 Little League Tournament Scoreboard: June 28, 2011

10 Year Old Division Results

Manchester 8 Holbrook 4
Manchester handed Holbrook Little League their first loss this afternoon and improved to 2-0 in the tournament.   Holbrook showed signs of a 6th inning rally prolonged by a Manchester fielding error, but Manchester put and end to it with a ground out to second for the win.

Jackson 14 Berkeley 9
After having Sunday off, Jackson wins their first game against Berkeley.  Berkeley is now 0-2.

Toms River East American 13 Barnegat 2
Toms River East American wins in stunning style for the second consecutive game. (See full game recap here).

Toms River East National 6 Toms River National 4
The Beasts from the East defeated their crosstown rivals 6-4 after a tough 12-2 loss on Sunday to Manchester.  Both teams are now 1-1.

Brick 10 Stafford 9
Brick improves to 2-0 after two 10 run performances. 

Game of the Week:
On Thursday 2-0 Brick will meet 2-0 Toms River East National which should be the game of the week for the 10 year old tournament.  The game takes place at 5:30pm in Barnegat.
