Nearly 6,000 homes without power in Toms River and Jackson

6,000 homes are without power tonight in Jackson Township and Toms River  according to First Energ Corp.   In Beachwood, 600 homes are without power.     Those are the areas most affected at this time with minimal outages in other  Ocean County communities.  2,000 homes in Jackson have lost power, 4,000 in Toms  River.
