Toms River Police respond to four rollover accidents in 24 hour period

Toms River Police Report:

Traffic Safety Officer Brian Doyle is investigating the third rollover accident on Friday when Jessica Comerford 21 of  Toms River lost control of her 2006 Chevy on Bay Avenue and Brookside Drive at 9:30 p.m. Friday night.  Jessica stated she was eastbound on Bay Avenue when she went to talk to a passenger in the rear of the vehicle and she lost control of her car  when it stuck the curb the car overturned.   No one was injured in the crash and she\was charged with DUI

Traffic Safety Corporeal Gary Flynn is investigating a two vehicle accident 4p.m. Saturday at Route #70 and Lake Ridge Blvd.  Rita Martino 78  of  Toms River  was eastbound on Route 70 and attempted to make a left turn into the Lake Ridge Community when her 2003 Toyota collided with a 2004 ford ranger pickup that was westbound on route 70.    This was the fourth rollover accident in 24 hours.

The Ford pickup operated by Larry Reynolds 55 of Brick, then rolled over after hitting the curb.  Pleasant Plains Fire Company extricated by Mr. Reynolds and his wife Nancy Reynolds from the truck.  Larry was transported to Community Medical Center and Nancy and Mrs. Martino were transported to Jersey shore Medical Center by Toms River and Lakewood Police EMS.
