Man drives car through Ortley Beach restaurant under renovation

Elderly woman’s purse snatched at Pathmark Shopping Center

Officer Ron Karkovice is investigating ther theft of a purse from a shopping cart in the Pathmark Shopping Center 10 am Saturday.  A 84 year old Toms River woman was unloading her shopping cart when a white female 5’5” dark hair and a wearing a dark jacket asked if she was done with her cart.  [...]

Man spots stolen vehicle in woods off Fischer Boulevard

A man walking his dog off Fischer Blvd contacted police about a vehicle stuck in the woods.  Investiagtion by Officer Mark DeGrandis found that the vehicle  a 1995 Jeep was stolen from Coty Marine sometime bewteen Wednesday night and Saturday morning.

Grand Theft Auto: Man reported ’98 Ford Taurus robbed in front of Five Guys Burgers

A 33 year old Stafford Township man reported he went into Five Guys Burgers Route 37 west just before 8 p.m. to pick up some food.  He reported he came out and 10 minutes later his vehicle a 1998 Ford Taurus was gone from the parking lot. Officer Carl Basile is investigating.

Pet Valu store robbed at knife-point in Toms River by man in ski mask

Toms River Police responded to an robbery at Pet Valu store located at  860 Fischer Blvd just before 8 p.m. Friday night.  A white male about 20 years approached a 24 male employed armed with a knife and demanded money.  The suspect fled on foot crossing Fischer Blvd after taken about $100 from the register.  [...]

Delta service station robbed after thieves broke through bathroom wall to get to safe
