Pet Valu store robbed at knife-point in Toms River by man in ski mask

Toms River Police responded to an robbery at Pet Valu store located at  860 Fischer Blvd just before 8 p.m. Friday night.  A white male about 20 years approached a 24 male employed armed with a knife and demanded money.  The suspect fled on foot crossing Fischer Blvd after taken about $100 from the register.  The suspect had sort curly hair,  had acne and was wearing dark pants, a light gray pull over and a black ski mask.  There were no injuries in the robbery that is being investigated by Officer TJ Polhemus,W, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and Detectives Lou Santora and John Bajcic.
