Toms River Police Blotter: Assault with Motor Vehicle on France Court

Toms River Police responded 130 am Wednesday morning to an assault with a motor vehicle on France Court.  Two employees of a repossession company were repossessing a 2004 Honda when they noticed items in the vehicle they alerted the people inside the home they could have the items.  The 27 year old brother of the person who owned the vehicle then demanded they unhook the tow.  The brother then entered the vehicle and attempted to drive it off the tow truck in the process he ran over one of the employees feet and struck a garbage can breaking the cars mirror. The victim a 27 year old Toms River man refused treatment at the scene. The car was later recovered in a parking lot on Hooper Avenue and the investigation by Officer Vincent Pedalino is continuing.
