MTV Jersey Shore Beach House Available for Rental

By Phil Stilton

The beachfront house that serves as home to the cast of the Jersey Shore is still available for nightly rentals and parties until the cast returns, but after the season 5 premier of Jersey Shore Thursday night, you might want to avoid Snookie’s bed.  ”I peed in that bed” she admitted in the series opener.

Still, that doesn’t stop droves of fans from booking the house for sweet sixteen and birthday parties all year long.

Jan Valentini of Seaside Realty, who manages rentals for the iconic beachview property says a night in the house will run you $2,500.  If you want to stay multiple nights, the rate drops to $2,000 per night with a $1,000 deposit.     The house has become a tourism draw for the borough as people of all ages drive by to sneak a peak at Snookie, The Situation and the rest of the crew or just walk by for a photo op in front of the house the Snookie smushed in.

For fans of the hit MTV show, there’s some good news.  The house will come furnished with many of the furnishings used by the cast and is big enough to host a bachelor or bachelorette party, sweet sixteen, birthday or graduation party.   “The house sleeps 12 and will be the same as it was during the filming except for the hot tub area.” Valentini said.  She said the hot tub deck area was a feature added by MTV and not part of the permanent structure or feature of the house.

“We get about a dozen booking calls every day, mostly from curious young kids  who walk by the house and see the sign” agent Kim Valentini said.

Valentini says that bookings have typically been one night rentals to younger guests who are predominantly New Jersey Residents.  Parents have even rented the  house for thier kids’ parties.
