Toms River Man Arrested in Jackson for DWI in Overturned Vehicle Crash

On Monday January 23, 2012 at approximately 3:20 pm, Officers responded to the intersection of West Veteran’s Highway and South Stump Tavern Road on the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a vehicle rollover.

 

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup overturned on its roof.  Reportedly, the Dodge was traveling west on West Veteran’s Highway when a 2005 Mazda came from South Stump Tavern road and struck the Dodge, causing it to spin off the roadway and overturn as it went into the dirt on the side of the road.

 

There were no reported injuries at the scene.

 

During the investigation, the driver of the Mazda was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.

 

Arrested:

Diana Graff, age 52 of Toms River.  Ms. Graff was processed at police headquarters and issued summons for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Failure to Stop or Yield.  She was released pending a court date.
