Toms River’s Monsignor Donovan Wins 101.5 Christmas Choir Contest
Radio Station 101.5 held a Christmas Choir Contest for sixteen days prior to Christmas showcasing sixteen different schools (either elementary, middle or high school). One school is featured each day for the sixteen days. The school featured has a 24 hour time period in which fans could vote for their song. Monsignor Donovan was featured on Thursday, December 22, 2012. The school was notified on the 23rd that indeed they were the grand prize winners of the contest. Monsignor Donovan will receive a new upright piano and $1000.00. On January 23, 2012 representatives from 101.5 will present the choir and choir director Cindy Wald with their prizes.
