Verizon Re-Launches Hooper Avenue Retail Store in Toms River

Verizon Wireless celebrated the opening of its latest innovative store design at 1278 Hoover Ave, Toms River, N.J., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 9, 2012.  Verizon Wireless leadership and staff were joined by Mayor Thomas Kelaher, representatives from the Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Ocean County, Inc.  The latest evolution of the company’s store design model, the Toms River “concept store” features an open, spacious 3,100-square-foot sales floor with interactive demo stations and offers a “paperless” environment for customers, including the option to receive digital instead of paper purchase receipts.  The store will also be fully staffed with 21 full-time employees to increase the customer experience.
