More Unlocked Cars Broken Into in Toms River

At 430 on Friday morning police responded to Marc Drive reference two males with dark hooded sweatshirts about 6’ tall checking out vehicles in driveways.

Officers then discovered numerous unlocked vehicles were entered on Marc and Dallas Drives. A jeep was entered on Dallas Drive and the suspects removed  a Magellan Road mate GPS valued at $600 sand $70 in cash .  On Marc Drive a 2003 Saturn was entered and a $300 Garmin Nuvi 1450 GPS was removed and a pink Ipod Nano valued at $100. Officer Ryan Rush and Shan Ruiz are investigating.

Police have constantly reminded residents to lock their car doors at night due to the large number of unlocked vehicles being broken into in recent months.
