Lakewood BlueClaws Closing in on 5 Million, Offers Marketing Opportunity for Business

The BlueClaws are just 161,377 fans away from 5-million and as part of the countdown and celebration, the team has created a unique promotion for one fan and will give businesses the chance to partner in this one-of-a-kind event.

After a BlueClaws game this summer, one lucky fan will get five swings to hit a home run, and if they succeed, two people, that fan plus the 5-millionth fan, will win a dynamite prize package from the BlueClaws.

The BlueClaws are offering businesses the chance to sponsor this program and putting that opportunity on eBay for one week. The auction runs through Wednesday, February 22nd with bidding concluding at the Chamber of Clawmerce networking event for BlueClaws partners.

Any business, anywhere has a chance to join forces with the BlueClaws on this one-of-a-kind event.

“We wanted to do something special in celebration of getting to 5-million fans and this is just one of several things we have in mind,” said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. “It’s a great opportunity for a local company to partner, receive extensive exposure, and be part of a one-of-a-kind program.”

The winning bidder will be able to sign up contestants at their location and have contestants driven to their location by the BlueClaws. The winning bidder will be a part of all promotion through various BlueClaws marketing initiatives, including e-newsletters, radio, press releases and in-stadium.

Additional prizes and features related to the 5-millionth fan will be released in the coming weeks.

The BlueClaws have led the South Atlantic League in attendance in all 11 years of existence and this year will become the fastest team in New Jersey and SAL history to reach 5-million fans.
