Firefighters Put Out Brush Fire At Ramada Inn in Toms River

At approximately 3:15 Thursday afternoon, firefighters from the Pleasant Plains Fire Company and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service were called to extinguish a brush fire in the wooded area that separates the Ramada Inn and Walgreens Pharmacy on Route 9.    Wind swept smoke north across the parking lot towards the hotel, but firefighters quickly put out the blaze upon their arrival.
