Toms River Police Still Looking for Driver of Monday Night Pedestrian Hit and Run

 

Toms River Police are looking for a red vehicle involved in a hit and run pedestrian accident  830 p.m.  Monday night.  Donald Vandenberge 60 of Toms River was crossing Vaughan Avenue at Bay Avenue when according to witnesses he was struck by a red vehicle north bound on Vaughan.   That red vehicle possibly a Toyota Celica then left the area.  Mr. Vandenberge was transported by Toms River Police EMS to Jersey Shore Trauma center.  Anyone with information is urged to contact Traffic Safety Officer Robert Westfall at 349-0150.
