Toms River Police Investigating Serious Accident on Fischer Boulevard Involving Intermediate East School Bus

Toms River Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and a Toms River Regional Schools bus. The accident occurred around 2:30pm, Thursday afternoon at Fischer Boulevard and Yellow Bank Road.
“There are a few minor injuries with students who were on the bus from Intermediate East.” Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy said “Fischer Blvd southbound is closed from Shore Boulevard to Yellow Bank Road.”
Toms River School District administrators are on the scene and coordinating the effort to reunite students with their parents.
