Veteran Injury Sends Toms River’s Frazier Back to Cincinnati
Todd Frazier is once again a Major League Baseball player after being recalled from the AAA Louisville Bats when veteran Miguel Cairo was placed on the 15 day disabled list. Frazier once again makes it through the cracks as another aging MLB vet goes down with injuries.
In his first game back, tonight, versus the St. Louis Cardinals, Frazier went 0-4, striking out once. The Reds were able to come out with a 6-3 win over the Cardinals.
Frazier had a rocky start this spring with the Bats, going 4 for 25 and batting just .160. In the past week, Frazier’s bat woke up again, batting .351 with a home run and 5 RBI in the past week.
