Toms River Police Investigating Robbery at Villages of Bey Lea Apartments

Toms River Police Press Release:

Toms River Police are investigating a robbery that occurred 330 p.m. Sunday afternoon at an apartment at the Villages of Bey Lea.  Two black males rang the doorbell of an apartment and once the victim answered it they forced their way into the apartment and indicted that had weapons.  The suspects assaulted three victims in the apartment,  the resident Ryan Maletto 25 and two male brick  resident s 23 and 25 years old  that were visiting.

 

All three victims were transported to community medical center for injuries that received when they were assaulted during the robbery. The suspects reportedly fled with over $400 in cash,  a $17,000 gold necklace and 30 Roxicets pills.

 

Police are looking for two black males one 6’ 200 lbs, with four gold teeth wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, sunglasses and a black baseball cap.  The other male is described as 5’9” 220 lbs, corn row hairstyle, wearing tan pants and shirt and a tan baseball cap.

 

Investigating are the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, Officers Art Pennell, Frank Moschella, anyone with information is requested to call Detective Chris Fluck at 349-0150 ext 1222.
