Toms River Little League Nationals Bounce Back to Defeat Barnegat 8-4

Ian Mindas and Christian Romano each hit solo home runs in Toms River Little League National’s  win against Barnegat Little League Wednesday night in Jackson.   The score was tied 4-4 going into the seventh inning.   Toms River capitalized on walks and errors to put 4 runs on the board to defeat Barnegat 8-4 in extra innings. Toms River is now 1-1 in the tournament after a crushing loss to the TRLL Americans on Monday.
