Man Caught After Trying to Evade Warrant Arrest

Toms River Police Release:

Toms River Sergeant Keith Diehl, along with Officers William Hutton, Brian Doyle and George Fernicola went to assist parole officers on executing a warrant for Brian Clemencich at an apartment complex on Oakmont Drive 430 Friday afternoon.   Clemencich 34 was in front his residence at 1708 Oakmont and fled inside when he saw officers approaching him.  Clemencich then exited the rear of the apartment and attempted to run into a wooded area behind his apartment but was then surrounded by officers and ran back into the apartment.  Sergeant Diehl and Officer Hutton were able to quickly apprehend him inside the apartment on two Toms River warrants for $30,000.  He was then additional charged with Obstruction and additional $5000 bail was set.
