Pedestrian Struck in Toms River Rushed to Trauma Center

Toms River Police are investigating a pedestrian accident that occurred just after 630 Friday night at Fischer Blvd and Francis Drive.  Victor Cruz 81 of Toms River was southbound on Fischer Blvd in a 2011 Honda  when Daniel Vonderheyden 18 of Toms River crossed the road.  The pedestrian  suffered a head injury and was medi-vac to Jersey Shore Hospital in Neptune Township.

 

Traffic Safety Officers  Brian Doyle and Steven Schwartz are investigating the accident and is requesting anyone who witnessed the accident to call him at 349-0150.
