Toms River Little League Americans Power their Way Past Manchester

Toms River American improves to 3-0 in bracket play with a 10-0 win over rival Manchester Little League. The Toms River boys kept up the hard hitting scoring 8 times in the bottom of the first to jump out to a 8-0 lead highlighted by a long HR to center by Jared Bellissimo. They added 2 more runs in the 2nd on solo HR’s by Michael Browne and a moon shot by Matthew Fitzpatrick onto the roof of the batting cages in CF at Toms River East Little League Complex. Ben Montenegro pitched a complete 4 inning game and received excellent defense behind him for the win.
