Pro Wrestling in Island Heights July 14th
After many successful shows, popular tri-state pro wrestling promotion National Pro Wrestling Superstars returns to the Island Heights, NJ Fire Company Hall (15 Lake Avenue, just off Route 37, minutes from the Parkway and Seaside Heights) this coming Saturday night July 14th at 7:35pm, as they team up with The Island Heights Volunteer Fire Company for a benefit fundraiser.
Topping the bill will be a huge match for NPWS Six-Man Tag-Team Titles. And “huge” is appropos in the case, as it will feature a team of three wrestlers paying tribute to three former WWE & WCW TV stars, in the form of The World Famous TV Clown, Mor-Ta-Da (paying tribute to the late Mortiss), and Goal-Duh (paying tribute to Golga, and accompanied by Cartman). But their opponents may be like nothing any of them ever faced on TV before, as the opposite corner will have a trio of wrestlers who have been unstoppable in the more than three years since they made their NPWS debut… they are the nearly three-quarters of a ton of human destruction known as The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu & La-Fu).
And speaking of big men… two more of them will settle a long-standing grudge that night, in NPWS’ first ever “Last Man Standing Match”, as NPWS Tag-Team Champion & reigning NPWS Hardcore Champion “Corrupted” Corey Havoc will battle former Tag-Team Champion “Bounty Hunter” Johnny Ringo. And another pair of big veterans also have a score to settle, as popular Jersey Shore star The Atomic Dog does battle with regional star “The Cold-Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto, with special referee “American Hero” Mr. Stars And Stripes.
Also in tag-team action, former NPWS Heavyweight Champion Ray Ray Marz & the lovable lunatic Slayer will take on the dangerous duo of NPWS Tag-Team Champion “Rampage” Rogers & “Mr. Varsity” Jeff Noyze, and the newly-formed team of The M&M Boys (Mark Modest & Mike Matixx) will battle Bobby Youngblood & A.C. Kewl.
There will also be appearances by NPWS Cruiserweight Champion “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie, Corrupted Youth, Strife, manager “Big 80′s” Donnie V., and much more.
