Brick Defeats Lacey in District 18 Junior League Championship Game

Brick Little League (Juniors) beats Lacey Little League (Juniors) 6-1 behind complete game from Brick Starting Pitcher Dan Finelli.  0-0 in bottom of 2ns Dan Finelli hits HR over left field fence (est. 320 ft) to make score 1-0 Brick.  Next inning Lacey ties game on a couple of hits.  Brick secone baseman Dan Berg makes amazing catch dropping back into short right field and doubles up runner of first base to end the inning and keep the score 1-1. In 5th inning Brick breaks open game with some key hits and great base running to make the score 6-1 (key hit driving in 2 more run was Dan Finelli again with a hard line drive single to left center).  Brick advances to NJ Section 3 Tournament starting this Tuesday 7/17 at 5:45pm at Holbrook Little League.  Congratulations to Brick Little League for winning the 2012 Junior League New Jersey District 18 Championship.
