Toms River Police Report 150 Attend Job Orientation

Toms River Police Lieutenant  Jeff Lenox reporter  over 150 people attended the Toms River Police orientation program that was held on Wednesday evening.  The Department holds an orientation every three years  prior to entry level police testing.  The current written test  is schedule for September.  Anyone interested in becoming  a recruit police officer  must have a four year degree or a  two degree and two years full time police experience or two years military service.  Applications can be obtained on line from the Police Department Web site and must be received by Midnight August 31, 2012.  Thus far the Department has received over 200 applications.
