Silverton Volunteer Fire Company Planning 5th Annual Fall Festival
From the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company:
October is Fire Prevention Month. On October 13, 2012, the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company will hold its 5th Annual Fall Festival along with celebrating 61 years of service to the community. The festival will kick off with a motorcycle run, and include live music, food, rides, fire demonstration and games for all ages.
We anticipate not only local participation, but people from Ocean, Monmouth, Mercer, Burlington, and Atlantic counties to join in the activities.
The festival is designed as a fundraising activity to support the numerous community service activities of the Company. Among those are Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday food baskets, including “helping Santa” for the needy of our area, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and other charitable works.
