Frazier Baseball and All Star-Sports Academy Partner
Toms River–”You might have heard the whispers. Might have wondered for yourself if the rumors were true,” according to Phil Hueston, owner of All-Star Sports Academy in Toms River. They are. Hueston has partnered with Frazier Baseball to deliver one of the most comprehensive all around baseball and softball training programs at the Jersey Shore.
All-Star Sports Academy is the training home of former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar and soon-to-be National League Rookie of the Year, Todd Frazier, of the Cincinnati Reds.
On the other side, you have Charlie Frazier, a coach for the Toms River High School South baseball team and his Frazier Baseball program. Frazier played minor league baseball from 1999 to 2004 for the Florida Marlins.
The two will combine efforts under one roof, according to Hueston, and he has a message for other local baseball training centers. ”I’d like to apologize to other baseball/softball hitting joints in the area. We’re going to make you work. Hard. Really hard. Because we are about to step the hitting development and softball and baseball skills development game up a whole slew of notches,” he said. “But nobody takes the approach to sports development that All-Star Sports Academy takes. And nobody is as serious about making you a better softball or baseball player than Frazier Baseball. ”
