Paws for Cancer to be Held at First Energy Park

Lakewood– Paws for Cancer, formerly Dog Walk for Cancer, is a fundraising initiative to benefit the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey. This annual event and its activities raise funding for various programs offered in the Cancer Center to its patients including Art & Music Therapy, Aromatherapy, Massage & Reiki Therapy, Educational events, Guided Imagery and Bedside Yoga. Additionally, each year donations are also made to local dog therapy organizations.

Conquering cancer is the ultimate goal of the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center. As a leading provider of cancer services in the Ocean County region, the Center’s focus is to combat this deadly disease through a broadening arsenal of world-class technologies and innovations.

Your support of Paws for Cancer helps these programs:

Music Therapy
Art Therapy and Art Supplies
Aromatherapy
Guided Imagery
Massage & Reiki Therapy
Educational Events
Bedside Yoga

Each year we also make donations to local therapy dog organizations.

The event will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., September 16th at First Energy Park.
