Dump Truck Crashes into Home in Jackson Township

Jackson–A dump truck crashed into a home on Route 571 in Jackson Township.  The accident is still under investigation according to Jackson Township Traffic Safety Sergeant Brian Geoghegan.   “Toms River Road will be closed at the south end of Lakehurst Avenue to Hope Chapel Road in Manchester until further notice as a serious motor vehicle crash is investigated,” the department said in a statement.  ”There will be limited access from Bowman Road, south if it is determined that you can make it to your destination. Please pay attention to the barricades and officers at the intersections.”
