Stafford Firefighters Responded to Two Structure Fires

Stafford–At approximately 5:15 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to smoke conditions at a home on Ridge Avenue in Stafford Township.  As firefighters were investigating the call, a second alarm came in for a fire at 34 Perry’s Lane.    The fire at Perry’s Lane was responded to by Station 47. The fire was knocked down within minutes of their arrival.  The call on Ridge Road turned out to be smoke from a burned out sump pump in the home’s crawl space.

Barnegat’s station 11 provided mutual assistance and coverage in the township during the calls.
