Jackson Police Arrest Two in Separate Incidents Attempting to Bring Drugs into Great Adventure

Jackson–On September 1, Jackson Police Officers responded to the security office at Six Flags Great Adventure on the report that a person was being detained after he attempted to enter the park with suspected heroin.  During the investigation, a 33 year old male resident of Delaware was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.  He was processed at police headquarters and released on summons pending a court appearance.

Later, officers responded to the security office on the report that a person was being detained after he attempted to enter the park with suspected cocaine.  During the investigation, a 23 year old resident of Brooklyn, NY was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.  It was also determined that the subject was not a citizen of the country and ICE was notified.

Bail was set at $2,500.00 and the male was lodged in the Ocean County Jail when he was unable to post bail.
