Jackson Police Make DWI Arrest During Investigation of Accident

On August 31, Jackson Police Officers responded to a one car motor vehicle crash on New Hampshire Street and during the investigation, the 23 year old driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest for DWI and the car was impounded.  The driver was processed at police headquarters and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Maintain Lane, Reckless Driving and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance and Registration.  He was later released on summons pending a court appearance.
