Jackson Police Make DWI Arrest After Noticing Damaged Vehicle

Jackson–After observing a vehicle driving through the Hess Parking Lot on Bennetts Mills Road with no headlights and a damaged front end, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop after the car pulled into a residence on Cedar Swamp Road.  During the investigation, the 21 year old male driver was placed under arrest for DWI and the car was impounded.  The driver was processed at police headquarters and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving and Failure to report a crash.  He was issued summons and released pending a court appearance.
