From the Shore to the Show: Ruf Called up to Phillies

Lakewood-Former Lakewood BlueClaw Darin Ruff will join the Philadelphia Phillie today after Michael Stutes moves to the 60 day disabled list.  He is expected to be in uniform for the Phillies game against the Florida Marlins.

This year, ruff batted 317 with 38 home runs for Reading.  In his 2010 stint with the BlueClaws, in which the team won their third SAL championship, Ruf  batted .330 with 4 home runs in 32 games with the BlueClaws.
