Toms River Blackhawks Showing Signs of Success in Off-Season

The Bantam B’s concluded their pre-season schedule this past weekend with a first place finish at the Protec Labor Day Tournament.

Toms River–The Toms River Blackhawks youth hockey Bantam B’s concluded their pre-season schedule this past weekend with a first place finish at the Protec Labor Day Tournament.

Earlier, in the beginning of August, the team competed in The War At The Shore Tournament at Brick.

They played solid hockey through the preliminary rounds and advanced themselves to the championship game.

The Blackhawks came up a little short against a very good tournament team from Monmouth County for a second place finish.

“All in all it was a good pre-season, the team is ready to go to work at practice, and is looking forward to the up coming season,” according to Corey Sosner.
