Little Egg Harbor Police Blotter: Sept. 6-9, 2012
On 09-06-12, Frederick Schultz IV, age 41 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested on Boulder Lk. Dr. due to a $600.00 warrant out of Stafford Twp. Municipal Court. Schultz was turned over to the Stafford Twp. Police Department and transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail. Patrolman Joseph Falkiewicz was the arresting officer.
On 09-06-12, Nicholas Hall, age 25 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes in the Great Bay Plaza Shopping Center. Hall was observed walking in a walkway in the far back of the Plaza, which is a known area for CDS use, loitering, and vandalism, late that evening. Further investigation revealed Hall was in possession of drug paraphernalia and hypodermic syringes. Hall was placed under arrest and later released on a summons. Corporal Christopher Arciniegas was the arresting officer.
On 09-06-12, Matthew Krause, age 33 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested in the McDonald’s parking lot, on Rt. 9 due to a $2,184.00 warrant out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Krause was turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail. Patrolman Kevin Hogan was the arresting officer.
On 09-08-12, Robert Vanicsko, age 51 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested at Police Headquarters due to a $750.00 warrant out of Lacey Twp. Municipal Court. Vanicsko posted bail and was released. Corporal Daniel Graczyk was the arresting officer.
On 09-08-12, Shawn Caravelli, age 45 of Egg Harbor City was arrested for driving while intoxicated (D.W.I.). Another motorist reported Caravelli as an “erratic driver”, traveling on Rt. 539. Police made contact with Caravelli, who was noticeably intoxicated, and conducted field sobriety test. Caravelli was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters where he was processed and later released to a friend as per John’s Law. Caravelli was issued a summons for D.W.I. and reckless driving. Patrolman Edward McNally was the arresting officer.
On 09-07-12, William Baker, age 34 of Beach Haven was charged with burglary, aggravated assault on police, resisting arrest, simple assault, and criminal mischief. Police were dispatched to Westchester Dr. for a report of an intoxicated male destroying property and attacking a juvenile. Once police arrived, Baker was uncooperative and attempted to assault officers. Baker was arrested and bail was later set at $50,000. Baker was transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail. Patrolman Joshua Peterson was the arresting officer, and was assisted by Patrolman Christopher Costa.
On 09-08-12, John Rithianos, age 18 of West Creek was charged with burglary. Rithianos was observed walking onVincent Ct.by officers who were already in the area for another burglary complaint. Rithianos was observed checking vehicles to find ones that were left unlocked. He checked approximately 20 vehicles before finding an unlocked one. Rithianos was arrested, and bail was later set at $10,000. He was transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail. Patrolman Christopher Costa was the arresting officer, assisted by Corporal Daniel Graczyk.
On 09-10-12, Esau Morales, age 19 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested on Center St. due to a $256.00 warrant out of Bass River Twp. Morales was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Patrolman Wilfredo Hernandez was the arresting officer.
On 09-10-12, Charles Bayham, age 45 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested on Oakland Bay Ct. due to a $1,500.00 warrant out of Berkeley Twp. Municipal Court. Bayham was turned over to the Berkeley Twp. Police Department and transported to the Ocean County Jail. Patrolman Wilfredo Hernandez was the arresting officer.
