Ocean County Artisans Work on Display at Sugarloaf Festival
Somerset–Three local artisans from Ocean County will be displaying their creations this year’s Sugarloaf Crafts Festival in Somerset from October 26-28).
- Anna & Costas Continos, Continos Studios (Barnegat)
- Anna Continos was an accomplished watercolorist before becoming a jeweler. Her paintings have been exhibited in many galleries in New York and New Jersey and are in corporate and private collections all over the world. Costas Continos is a retired engineer and created sterling silver jewelry as a hobby for 15 years before the two decided to work together as a team. Anna and Costas both work on all of the pieces that come out of their studios.

- Marty Silverman, The Fountain and Sculpture Garden (Jackson)
- Marty is a sculptor who’s had his work exhibited in juried fine arts and craft shows throughout most of the mid-Atlantic states – from Connecticut to Washington, D.C. At these shows, he demonstrates his work to give those in attendance insight into his craft. Marty’s love of art and people led him to teach fine arts in the public school system for 34 years.

- Jo Allyn Vlossak, Stained Glass by Jo Allyn (Manchester)
- Jo Allyn Vlossak is an artist based out of Manchester who specializes in creating beautiful stained glass artworks. I’ve attached several photos of her work for your reference.
