Drug Raid at Jackson’s Vista Center Yields 800 Bags of Heroin

Jackson–Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford announced today the culmination of an investigation into drug activity in the Ocean County area.

On September 14, 2012 Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group along with members of the Jackson Township Police Department obtained and executed a search warrant for a residence located at 707 Willow Point Drive, Jackson NJ.

Members of the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group also executed search warrants on two vehicles, specifically a 2002 Cadillac Deville and a 2000 Acura RL. Both of the listed  vehicles were identified as being utilized to facilitate the drug distribution activities of James Streeter age 32 of Jackson NJ. As a result of the search warrants police seized approximately sixty grams of cocaine, approximately 800 bags of heroin and $8500 dollars in cash. Police also seized a digital scale.

The following individual was arrested and charged:

James Streeter age 32 of 707 Willow Point Drive, Jackson New Jersey. Mr. Streeter was charged with possession of cocaine over one-half ounce with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin over one-half ounce and possession of heroin over one-half ounce with intent to distribute.

The Honorable Superior Court Judge Francis R. Hodgson Jr. JSC set Mr. Streeter’s bail at $125,000 no ten percent for the aforementioned charges. Mr. Streeter was also charged with distribution of heroin. The Honorable Superior Court.

Judge Francis R. Hodgson Jr. JSC set an additional bail of $75,000 no ten percent for the distribution of heroin charge.
Assisting in the investigation as well as the execution of the search warrant were members of the Jackson Township Police Department.
