Little Egg Harbor Police Blotter: Sept 11-16, 2012

On 09-11-12, Andre Gotay, age 31 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested following a minor motor vehicle accident of Rt. 539 near the Warren Grove bombing range. Gotay had a $1,641 warrant out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Gotay was turned over to the Ocean County Sheriffs Department, and then transported to the Ocean County Jail. Patrolman Kevin Hogan was the arresting officer.

On 09-14-12, Michael Clay, age 56 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was charged with D.W.I. Clay was stopped on National Union Blvd. for a motor vehicle violation. Clay was visibly intoxicated and after further investigation, was placed under arrest for D.W.I. Clay was later released to a friend, as per John’s Law, and issued several motor vehicle summonses. Corporal Christopher Arciniegas was the arresting officer.

On 09-14-12, Arnold Bell Jr., age 44 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested on Radio Rd. due to warrants out of Absecon and Bass River Twp. Municipal Courts. Total bail was $1,240. Bell was released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Corporal Christopher Arciniegas was the arresting officer.

On 09-14-12, Allyssa Grausso, age 26 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was charged with possession of CDS. Grausso was observed walking through the Harbor Island Shopping Center when police made contact with her. Further investigation revealed Grausso was in possession of oxycodone pills, which were not prescribed to her. Grausso was placed under arrest, and was later released on a summons. Patrolman Thomas McAnney was the arresting officer.

On 09-14-12, Andrew King, age 20 of Egg Harbor Twp. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police were called to the area of Lk. Champlain Dr. for a report of suspicious males. Police made contact with two males, one being a juvenile, who was issued a curfew summons due to the late hour. Further investigation revealed King was in possession of drug paraphernalia. King was arrested, and later released on a summons. Patrolman Kevin Hogan was the arresting officer, assisted by Patrolwoman Tonya Anderson.

On 09-15-12, Anthony Browne, age 33 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was charged with possession of a prescription legend drug and drug paraphernalia. Browne was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped in the Mystic WaWa parking lot due to a motor vehicle violation. Further investigation revealed Browne was in possession of a non-narcotic prescription drug, which was not prescribed to him, as well as a glass tubular smoking pipe believed to be a “crack pipe.” Browne was placed under arrest and later released on a summons. Patrolman Joseph Falkiewicz was the arresting officer, assisted by Patrolman Thomas McAnney.

On 09-15-12, Shawn Peters, age 27 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested on Wingedfoot Ln. due to a $42,775.00 warrant out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Peters was turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and then transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail. Corporal Christopher Arciniegas was the arresting officer.

On 09-15-12, Crawford Garris, age 57 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was charged with possession / distribution of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. Garris was walking on Twin Lks. Blvd. near the tree line, and acted in a suspicious manner as a patrol vehicle approached him. Further investigation revealed Garris was in possession of cocaine and a digital scale. Garris was placed under arrest, and bail was set at $40,000. Garris was transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail. Patrolman Thomas McAnney was the arresting officer.

On 09-15-12, Joshua Carey, age 29 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested in the Rite Aid parking lot on Center St., due to $2,637 in outstanding warrants out of Little Egg Harbor Twp. and Ship Bottom Municipal Court. Carey was released on his own recognizance pending a future court. Patrolman Joseph Falkiewicz was the arresting officer.

On 09-15-12, Eric Popp, age 45 of Little Egg Harbor Twp. was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Popp was observed walking on Foresgate Dr. with an open container of beer, a township ordinance violation. Further investigation revealed Popp was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Popp was placed under arrest and later released on a summons, and also issued a township ordinance ticket for having an open container of alcohol in a public area. Corporal Christopher Arciniegas was the arresting officer.

On 09-16-12, Sarah Schlitzer, age 24 of Galloway Twp. was charged with D.W.I. and driving under the influence with a minor as a passenger. Schlitzer was pulled over on Center St. near Calabreeze Way for a motor vehicle violation. Schlitzer was noticeably intoxicated and had two juveniles in her vehicle. After further investigation Schlitzer was placed under arrest for D.W.I. Schlitzer was later released to a friend, as per John’s Law, and issued multiple traffic summonses. Corporal Christopher Arciniegas was the arresting officer.
