Stafford Police Arrest Woman for DWI after Collision on Route 72

Stafford–On Friday night, The Stafford Township Police department Responded to a two-vehicle MVA on Route 72 at the Sonoco gas station.  Investigation revealed John P Navarro 45 years old of Manahawkin, NJ was getting gas at the Sonoco gas station.  While getting gas, Mr. Navarro was struck in the rear by a 1999 Ford truck operated by Jennifer L Terefenko 25 Years old of Manahawkin, NJ.  There was minor damage sustained to both vehicles and no injuries were reported.

Further investigation revealed, Mrs. Terefenko was operating her motor vehicle while under the influence.  Also, Mrs. Terefenko had an outstanding warrant out of Bass River, NJ which was issued by the NJ State Police.

Mrs. Terefenko was arrested for DWI and the warrant out of Bass River.  Mrs. Terefenko was processed then released to a family member after being issued numerous motor vehicle summons.
