Toms River Burglar Gets Away with $5,000 in Stolen Jewelry

Toms River–A residence on Mulberry Place was entered between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday.  Officer Ryan Quinn is investigating the burglary where apparently the suspect entered an unlocked first floor bedroom window.   The burglar left the home with an HP laptop computer and over $5000 in jewelry.

A neighbor reported that a suspicious male was observed in the area at the time of the burglary.  That suspect is described as 40 years old and bald with gray hair on the side of his head, 5’ 7 230 lbs wearing a silver track suit.  Anyone with information can contact Detective Captain Bruce Burgess at 349-1505 ext 200.
