Jackson Police Blotter: Sept. 13, 2012

Thursday September 13:

- Employees of First Energy reported a Burglary to a work trailer and a Theft of tools at a worksite at an electrical substation on East Veteran’s Highwa y. It was reported that property valued at $700.00 was stolen.

- Officers arrested a 42 year old male on Louisiana Parkway on outstanding warrants out of Ocean County Superior Court, Wall Township, Asbury Park and Lakewood. The total amount of the warrants totaled in excess of $82,000.00. The subject was lodged in the Ocean County Jail when he was unable to post bail.
- After receiving a phone call from a concerned driver about a Jeep Cherokee that was reported to being driven erratically, Officers located the vehicle and during an investigation, placed the driver under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. The 59 year old male driver was charged with: DWI, Reckless Driving, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance while operating a motor vehicle after suspected marijuana was also recovered.
