Off-Duty Lakewood Officer Shoots Himself in Foot in Jackson after Accidental Discharge
Jackson–An off-duty police officer dining at a restaurant in the Cooks Landing plaza at 347 N. County Line Road was shot in the foot this afternoon after his gun was accidentally discharged. The officer was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune for treatment and is expected to be released this evening.
