Friday Night Football Scores: Brick Memorial 34 Jackson Memorial 7

Jackson–In a game which brought live televised coverage by the MSG Network, it was one-sided from the first kick.   Instead, Brick Memorial dominated the Jaguars on both sides of the ball in a 34-7 win.   Brick Memorial’s Mike Basile score 4 touchdowns.   Joe Hans scored Brick’s other touchdown.   Jackson just couldn’t connect and make things happen tonight.

For Jackson, the only endzone the Jaguars would see came on a Khani Glover 1 yard run.

Jackson is now 1-2 on the season and Brick improves to 3-0. Brick Memorial is now tied with Lacey at the top of Class A South after Southern dropped their first game of the season to Toms River North 17-14.

For the first time in school history, Jackson Liberty (3-0) has won their first three games of the season and they now sit atop Class B South, tied with Point Boro.    Liberty defeated a struggling Manchester (0-3) team, 28-12.
