Brick Memorial High School Hosts Season Opening Band Competition

Brick Township–Jackson Memorial High School Marching Band finished second overall out of fourteen bands  at this weekend’s Brick Memorial home band competition.   Old Bridge High School won Best in Show with a score of 77.85. Memorial finished just seven tenths of a point behind.

Old Bridge has dedicated their band season to graduate and former band member Christina LoBrutto, 18, who was a victim in the August Pathmark shooting.

Toms River High School East took 3rd place in Group 4A, Point Pleasant Boro finished second in Group 3A, Central Regional finished 2nd in Group 2A, Brick High School finished third in Group 3A and Manchester Township took first place in Group 1A. Jackson Liberty took 1st place in Group 5A and Jackson Memorial finished first in Group 6A.
