Junior TItans 16U Defeat Red Bank 2-1

With an early goal in the first period by number 98, Christian Bierker, to help shape the rest of the game, the New Jersey JR Titans U16 team took on the Red Bank Generals at Howell Ice World, September 21, 2012.

The second period saw a Generals goal by 68, Michael Moreno, with an assist from 13, Brian Lynch with 12 and a half minutes left.  Titans fans were a little disappointed with the tie until 10, Brian Lange, brought them back on top with the assist from 77, Connor Grant, with a little less than 9 minutes left in the period; but soon after received a minor penalty, his second of the game thus far.

The third period saw three more penalties, two for the Titans, 24, Jack Jennings and 81, Justin Strich, and one for the Generals, 2, Donald Califano and a Time Out with a minute left in the period from the Generals.

The game ended with a 2-1 win for the Titans!

“I feel great; my team is playing great in front of me, and I’ve been having a lot of fun,” said 44, Zachary Robbins, Titans Goaltender in a post game interview.
