Navy Seals Challenge Coming to Seaside Heights this Weekend

Seaside Heights–The Navy Seals Chapter has set up a fun event for families,individuals and teams to join in the fun to get a taste of what Navy SEAl’s go through in training!

 

To be overseen by former Navy SEAL’s and volunteers, an obstacle course is being set up between the piers in Seaside Heights for the public to tests their abilities!

 

Events for this Saturday & Sunday, September 29th & 30th include a 5k race starting on the boardwalk to J St. In Seaside Park and back.  Other events include a “Run-Swim-Run, and a unique and challenging Obstacle course right on the beach!

 

This 1st annual event will be capped off with Jet Ski Ocean wave riders and the new Jet-Lev which is a vest that swimmers use to fly through the air!

 

Festivities to this All American day will include a Special guest

concert at 6pm.   So, come and join in the fun to show your Patriotic

side on this first annual  Military and Civil service weekend.

 

All events will take place on Saturday starting at 8am and will run throughout the day.  Sunday will be a 5k boardwalk race.  Winners of each event receive awards!  Fees  to enter the race  include a Special event shirt are with all proceeds going to the Navy SEAL’s chapter.
