CSI: Tuckerton; Burglar Identified by Blood Left at Scene of Crime

Trevor Frank, 19, of Tuckerton was identified by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office as the offender in a burglary at a Tuckerton residence.  Blood found at the scene was collected by C.I.U and analyzed, returning as a hit for Mr. Frank.  Ptl. Toni Carbone was the investigating officer, assisted by Det. Matthew Scutti of CIU.  The accused was charged with Burglary and Criminal Mischief.

Cpl. Justin Cherry arrested Vincent Toscano, 28, of Manahawkin on charges of Possession of CDS and paraphernalia.  Recovered at the scene of a motor vehicle stop was a plastic bag containing crushed pills and a cut straw containing powder residue.  Mr. Toscano was processed and released with a future court date.

Anthony Evans, Jr., 29, of Jacksonville, FL was arrested after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Mr. Evans was found to have 9 outstanding NJ warrants totalling $7,905.  Mr. Evans was processed and turned over to Stafford Twp. PD.  Ptl. Joseph Luna was the arresting officer.
