Lakehurst Road in Toms River to be Closed After Accident Downs Utility Pole

Toms River–Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy is asking drivers to avoid the area of Lakehurst Road between Patmas and Silver Ridge Drive today.

“Lakehurst Road is closed and will be for a good part of the day to a non injury motor vehicle accident that occurred just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday,” he said. ” Traffic safety Corporal Frank Palino is investigating the one car crash.  The driver of a was westbound on Lakehurst Road when she lost control and hit a utility pole at Patmas Drive.  Lakehurst Road is closed between Patmas and Silver Ridge Drive.  Please avoid Lakehurst road.”
